Video Editor/Animator

Position description:

This year we will be launching a new channel called Future Proof Health to analyze and highlight the brands and companies shaping the modern world of health and wellness. We are looking for a video editor (some animation skills is a big bonus) to help bring these stories to life.

The videos we plan to create are going to be journalistic in nature and rely on a lot of visualization to communicate their message effectively. Our style of video will be something like an “explainer,” so imagine the content from Vox or Johnny Harris.

Compensation:

Compensation will depend on the skills of the successful applicant but wages will be competitive with industry standards.

Hours: During the early stages this will be a project by project basis, developing into a salary position.

Location: N/A (Remote Work Position)

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Video Editing (Adobe is preferred but not mandatory)

• Some Basic Animation

Qualifications: 

• Advanced Video Editing

• Strong Communication skills

• Highly Organized

• Independent Problem Solving

• (Bonus) Understanding of YouTube as a Platform

• (Bonus) Understanding of Environmental Issues

• (Bonus) Photoshop Skills
